Internal aluminum 2.5" box AXAGON RSS-M2B with SATA interface is designed for SATA M.2 SSD disks. The SATA 6G interface will allow the user to enjoy modern M.2 SSDs with a transmission rate of up to 6Gb/s. In addition, the internal M.2 box supports other modern functionalities, e.g. TRIM and allows reading S.M.A.R.T. information that monitors the status of the disk.

SATA M.2 SSD drives can be used in the box. The advantage is the attachment of four different lengths of SSD cards - 30, 42, 60 and 80 mm. M.2 cards can be single-sided or double-sided. The box does not limit the capacity of inserted SSD. Easy M.2 card installation and box disassembly is ensured by one screw.

The outer metal housing is made in black colour with an elegant matte finish that prevents unwanted fingerprints. The aluminum box body provides very good cooling of the inserted M.2 SSD disk.

In the operating system, in BIOS (UEFI) and during booting, the internal frame with inserted M.2 card behaves like a standard hard disk. By inserting the M.2 SSD in the reduction you will easily create fast internal 2.5" disk, which can replace a slow HDD disk, e.g. in a laptop.
