The Lindy HDMI 2.1 EDID Emulator Adapter is designed for systems that require an uninterrupted signal to overcome EDID related issues that commonly occur when using AV equipment such KVM's, Extenders, Splitters & Switches. With the small-scale and minimalistic design, this is a handy connectivity solution for both AV and IT installers to ensure legacy and new HDMI equipment works seamlessly with no compromise on performance.
The Emulator also features LED indicators to ensure a quick simple installation process and with support for resolutions up to 7620x4320@60Hz or 3840x2160@120Hz HDR (Via cloning), HDCP 2.3 pass-through, this emulator is perfect for use with Ultra HD 4K monitors.
This adapter can be used to quickly and easily clone the EDID data from the HDMI display so that the graphics card has direct access to the correct data from the display, the cloning process takes less than 10 seconds; Alternatively the EDID Emulator is configured with a preset EDID which uses the most common resolutions/timing combinations.
