The second generation of Thunderbolt 3 technology means that the dock is now compatible not only with Thunderbolt 3 ports, but also USB-C and USB4, making it a flexible solution for businesses and users running laptops and tablets with different ports (however, when connected with USB-C and USB4, only one monitor will work and the Thunderbolt 3 port on the dock will transfer data at USB 2.0 speeds).
