Plus, the RGB call button is illuminated for ease of use regardless of conditions. It’s also easy to install and use anywhere. For instance, it can be installed as a help-point in a public park allowing people to quickly call for assistance. And, thanks to its bright orange color, it also acts as a deterrent.

This robust IP66/IP69-rated device includes a vandal-resistant IK10-rated front plate and offers flexible installation in both indoor and outdoor applications. What’s more, Axis Edge Vault safeguards the device and protects sensitive information from unauthorized access and offers FIPS 140 certified, secure crypto-graphic key storage and operations.

Flexible and easy to install

With edge-to-edge technology, it’s possible to add, for instance, an Axis camera to your installation for visual verification and enhanced situational awareness. This intercom is based on an open platform for seamless integration with Axis and third-party VMS systems. It also supports Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for IP phone system integration, as well as open programming interfaces for software integration including VAPIX and ONVIF. It can be mounted on walls, recessed, or using a conduit mount. And with support for PoE, it uses just one network cable. It also fits into 2-gang installation boxes and benefits from no visible screws—the casing simply snaps on. Furthermore, an induction loop is available as an accessory making it possible to transmit audio to a person’s hearing aid.
