The air quality monitor is designed to measure volatile organic compounds (VOCs). VOCs are a large and diverse group of chemical compounds that volatilize into the air at room temperature. Inside the home, VOCs are dangerous carcinogenic air pollutants that evaporate under normal indoor atmospheric conditions.
Continuous monitoring of air quality
The Aqara TVOC sensor is connected to the hub controller, can use changes in the concentration or level of VOCs, temperature and humidity as an automation condition, work with smart home devices to implement various smart scenarios and send messages to your mobile phone. Most VOCs found in food products come from everyday consumer products including sprays and aerosols such as air fresheners, cleaners, etc. Many products such as adhesives, new furniture and carpets, building materials and electronics also release VOCs into the air.

Aqara TVOC air quality monitor has three integrated sensors designed with advanced electrochemical and semiconductor technology to ensure stability and accuracy. The temperature and humidity compensation algorithm can effectively reduce the influence of environmental changes, and the reading resolution can be increased to 0.01 mg/m3.
