The SIL WCAP-AX-EXT+ is an outdoor 802.11ax access point featuring four N-type antenna connectors. It is part of SilverNet's new Intelligent Wi-Fi 6 "Aero" series, designed for use with external high-gain antennas to create high-performance enterprise Wi-Fi networks.
This device offers an exceptional outdoor Wi-Fi range with a TX-Power of up to 23dBm and a wireless coverage distance of up to 200 meters (depending on the antennas used), making it perfect for a wide range of uses, especially in commercial and hospitality settings. It supports various hotspot authentication methods, including vouchers, local accounts, and social media platforms like Facebook, ensuring robust connectivity in shopping centers, schools, hotels, and more.
The WCAP-AX-EXT+ provides the option to manage the access point locally or through a controller, offering the versatility to deliver a comprehensive, managed Wi-Fi service tailored to your clients' requirements. It also operates efficiently as a standalone access point.
