The Lindy USB 3.0 SATA Enclosure 2.5" turns a normal 2.5” SATA hard drive or solid state drive into a portable, external hard drive. It is a fast storage solution which supports data transfer rates up to 5Gbps via USB 3.0 and up to 6Gbps via SATA.

The enclosure allows the user to quickly add an additional 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD to a computer without opening the case. Compact and lightweight, the enclosure is highly portable, ideal for mobile applications or temporary desktop backup & storage. It has a tool free design, for easy drive installation. The enclosure is bus-powered so requires no external power supply.

USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and USB 3.2 PCs, cables and devices are all compatible with each other, when using either a USB Type A or USB Type C host interface.
USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 all support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps.
USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 both support data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps.
